Pressure Vessel Activities

National Engineering Inc. provides Mechanical Engineering Design Services for new, and in-service pressure vessels users.

In-service vessel conditions may require immediate attention. National Engineering is positioned to provide timely engineering solutions for:

  • General vessel repairs and alterations
  • Repair of existing nozzles
  • Addition of nozzles
  • De-rate vessel for pressure or temperature, etc
  • Consider wind loads with reduced shell thickness
  • Addition of lifting lugs, trunnions
  • Fitness for Service (FFS) calculations in accordance with API-579
  • Skirt opening analysis

National Engineering can also provide Project Management / Project Engineering Services to guide trades people and deal with regulatory compliance issues during the repairs. National Engineering will liaison with ABSA when required to ensure that, all design and inspection issues meet the required Codes and Standards.
